San Antonio, TX — July 26, 2027, Yolanda Cano was killed in a hit-and-run accident at about 8:10 p.m. in the 1500 block of El Paso Street.

Authorities said a woman was walking in the eastbound lanes of El Paso Street when she was hit by an unknown vehicle, which did not stop after the collision.

The pedestrian, 71-year-old Yolanda Cano, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash near the intersection with South San Jacinto Street, according to authorities.

Authorities have not released a description of the vehicle involved in the Bexar County crash. The accident is still under investigation.
