Accident Report

April 4, 2026, Arif Iqbal was injured as the result of a hit-and-run accident around 3:03 a.m. along Interstate 35E.

Authorities said that the accident happened in the area of I-35E and Inwood Road. It appears that 56-year-old Arif Iqbal was in a Cadillac Escalade going northbound. Another vehicle was going northbound, as well. Authorities say the other vehicle made an unsafe lane change when it crashed with the Cadillac.The second vehicle then left the scene.

Due to the accident, Arif Iqbal was seriously injured. Details about the other vehicle and driver are unavailable at this time.
