How Did This Accident Occur?
A crash like this could involve something common, like distracted driving, unsafe speeds, or just inattention in general. Or, it could be something less common, like a vehicle defect or obstructed visibility. What’s important is to ensure the victim’s loved ones get the answers they deserve. My concern is that with motorcycle wrecks, that can be a bit more challenging.
A lot of people have a negative bias against motorcycle riders, assuming they’re all reckless. I’ve even had to correct police reports in the past when authorities jumped to conclusions and got the facts wrong. However, that bias only goes so far when there’s clear evidence telling the story. So, if a family feels the accident is getting the attention it needs, that’s good. But if it seems like authorities aren’t being thorough enough in their efforts, getting clear answers might require bring in independent investigators.
