Lucas, TX — April 8, 2025, Isaac Negrete was killed as the result of a work accident which took place along Shady Creek Circle.
Officials with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration say the incident occurred northeast of Dallas off of Country Club Road and Forest Grove Road.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are unavailable. OSHA says only that 34-year-old Isaac Negrete was killed on the job at a construction job. The cause of the accident has not been publicly confirmed.
Right now, the incident appears to still be under investigation.

Regardless of what happened here, the priority should always be that the victim’s loved ones have all the answers they need. Unfortunately, that’s not something OSHA tends to prioritize. They have their own priorities. Even when they finish their investigations, families may still have unanswered questions. That’s why many work accidents need independent investigators stepping in to pick up the slack. Whatever path lies ahead for a worker’s loved ones, it’s always best to navigate that path with as many facts as possible telling the story.
