Milam County, TX — December 11, 2025, Sirvaugh Rougeau was killed as the result of a car accident at around 4:13 p.m. on County Road 430.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened at the intersection of County Road 430 and County Road 464, between Rockdale and Taylor.
Investigators said that 23-year-old Sirvaugh Rougeau was in a vehicle reportedly going along County Road 464. At County Road 430, the vehicle lost control and ran off-road. There, it crashed into a tree. Sirvaugh Rougeau was killed as a result of the crash.
Right now, further information about the crash is still under investigation.

While the reports are still in the early stages, it’s best for folks to take what they hear with a few grains of salt. I’ve seen plenty of serious accidents where it took weeks and even secondary independent investigations to get the full story and do a fair accounting of the facts. Regardless of what happened here, the victim’s loved ones deserve to know they’re getting the full story. Whether authorities are taking steps to get that full story remains to be seen.
