Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
My main concern with motorcycle accidents is if they got the attention they really deserved. Too often, people just jump to conclusions and assume the rider was being reckless. Even authorities can let this common bias impact their investigations.
That’s why a lot of the motorcycle accidents I’ve handled over the years came from victims and families who felt their side of the story wasn’t being told fairly. Sometimes, an independent investigation can verify that authorities already did a good job. Maybe that happened here. But it’s not unusual for motorcycle accidents to only get the attention they need after a look from thorough independent accident reconstructionists.
