San Antonio, TX — December 10, 2024, One person was injured following a car accident that occurred Tuesday afternoon on Poteet Jourdanton Freeway.
An investigation is underway into a car accident sent one person to the hospital during the afternoon hours of December 10th. According to official reports, an individual who’s identity has not been disclosed, was riding their bicycle near the intersection of Poteet Jourdanton Freeway and I-35 when a vehicle reportedly ran a red light and struck another vehicle. That collision resulted in the impacted vehicle striking a third car with the bicyclist getting caught between them.
When first responders arrived on the scene they found the cyclist had sustained serious injuries and transported them to the hospital. Currently there has been no other details released from the accident, including the identity of the cyclist and their injuries.
