Houston, TX — August 15th, 2024, Kari Bates was injured following a car accident that occurred around 8:3 A.M. on San Felipe St.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the morning hours of August 15th. According to official reports, Kari Bates was travelling in a Ford Bronco on San Felipe St. in the westbound lanes, near the River Oaks Blvd intersection, when an unknown vehicle made an unsafe lane change and struck Bate’s vehicle.
As a result of the impact, Bates’s vehicle sustained significant damage and the unknown vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Bates had sustained serious injuries and transported her to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of Bates’s injuries and whether any charges or citations will be filed.
