Story County, IA— April 15, 2023, William Kirkman was killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 2:19 a.m. on I-35 in Story County.
According to authorities, the victim had recently exited a vehicle when he was struck by a southbound semi-truck. Mr. Kirkman suffered fatal injuries.
Officials have not reported why the victim had stopped his vehicle, if the semi-truck failed to evade, or any other factors that led up to the accident.
