Irving, TX — March 2, 2023, Vaanisri Yadlapati was killed and another was injured in a car accident around 10 p.m. on N. MacArthur Blvd. in Irving.
Authorities report the Nissan Sentra the victims were in was southbound attempting a turn from N. MacArthur Blvd. onto E. Valley Ranch Pkwy. when it collided with an eastbound Jeep Cherokee.
Ms. Yadlapati, reportedly a front-seat passenger, was transported to a hospital with purportedly serious injuries that she later succumbed to. A passenger in the back seat of the Nissan Sentra was also transported to a hospital but reports say his injuries were minor. The drivers of each vehicle were reportedly uninjured.
Authorities allege the Nissan Sentra had a flashing yellow arrow and failed to yield the right of way to the Jeep Cherokee with a green light. Police recommended charging the driver of the Nissan Sentra with No Valid Tx Driver’s License. However, the cause of the accident requires further investigation.
