Jasper, TN — July 26, 2023, one person was killed and another was injured in a tractor-trailer crash off Highway 41 in Jasper.
Authorities indicate that on July 26, a crash occurred when, for unknown reasons, a tractor-trailer crashed into a home off Highway 41. According to reports, a vehicle attempted to merge into the tractor-trailer’s lane; the truck driver swerved to avoid that vehicle, left the road, and crashed into the house.
Investigators say the truck driver was killed in the crash; a passenger from the truck was taken to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. No other injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing. No additional details have been released at this time.
