January 11, 2026, three teenagers were injured following a car accident at around 4:03 a.m. along Loop 322.
According to officials, the crash happened off eastbound lanes of the highway at the Loop 322 and US Highway 84 interchange.
It appears five teenagers were in a Toyota Camry that was traveling along Loop 322. That vehicle reportedly lost control and crashed. As a result, a 17-year-old boy in the vehicle was seriously injured. Another 17-year-old and a 16-year-old had moderate injuries.
No other injuries were reported. At this time, additional details are unavailable.
How Did This Accident Occur?
The most obvious possible factors in a single-vehicle crash tend to be unsafe speeds and distracted driving. People will certainly be even more suspicious of those factors given the age of the driver. However, I’ve never handled a car accident case where jumping to conclusions helped anyone. All it does is muddy the waters and risk letting important details slip through the cracks. This could involve anything from a tire blowout to a vehicle defect to a business serving alcohol to minors to road hazards to fatigue. It’s not about what’s likely; it’s about what the evidence says. It’s not clear right now if authorities have taken all the necessary steps to preserve all the evidence.
