How Did This Accident Occur?

The most obvious possible factors in a single-vehicle crash tend to be unsafe speeds and distracted driving. People will certainly be even more suspicious of those factors given the age of the driver. However, I’ve never handled a car accident case where jumping to conclusions helped anyone. All it does is muddy the waters and risk letting important details slip through the cracks. This could involve anything from a tire blowout to a vehicle defect to a business serving alcohol to minors to road hazards to fatigue. It’s not about what’s likely; it’s about what the evidence says. It’s not clear right now if authorities have taken all the necessary steps to preserve all the evidence.
