Accident Report
September 29, 2026, one person was injured following a semi-truck hit-and-run accident at around 7:56 p.m. along the 215 Freeway.
Few details about the crash are available at this time. Reports made by Lone Wolf News and Media as well as OnScene.TV say the collision happened along the northbound service road of the interstate just off University Avenue. Their statements say that a UCR student was on an e-scooter in a crosswalk at the time. While there, a semi-truck with a gray trailer that had blue letters on it apparently struck the scooter rider. The truck then reportedly went up the northbound I-215 on-ramp and left the scene.
The victim apparently had non-life-threatening injuries following the accident. Statements from police are unavailable at this time.
How Did This Accident Occur?
I’m glad to see that at least these two outlets, Lone Wolf News and Media as well as OnSceneTV, put out the word about this accident. Generally speaking, that’s one of the best things anyone can do after a hit-and-run. The more eyes there are on the crash, the more likely it is someone connects the dots and comes forward with information which could help authorities identify the driver.
That’s why it’s frustrating that it doesn’t seem other news sites or even the authorities have put out details on this accident. Is there anything more to this story that could explain why it’s not getting as much attention as other accidents? Does anyone have other details to share that could help lead to a resolution? Let me know in the comments if you have anything to discuss.
