Hale County, TX — March 19, 2026, Sara Gonzalez was killed in a single-car accident at about 3:30 p.m. on F.M. 400 south of Plainview.
Authorities said a 2012 Kia Forte was heading south when it went off both sides of the road before crashing into a guardrail on the west side. It caught fire after going down an embankment.
Driver Sara Gonzales, 27, of Plainview died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to authorities.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Hale County crash at this time.
