Blue Earth County, MN — April 17, 2023, Ryan Neyers was injured in a collision with a semi-truck around 1:30 p.m. on Hwy. 83 in Blue Earth County.
The accident was purportedly near the intersection with 615th Ave. on Hwy. 83, a two-lane highway, in a section where both lanes of traffic are permitted to pass.
According to officials, the victim was southbound while a tractor-trailer was northbound when the two vehicles collided. Mr. Neyers was reportedly transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but it is unclear if he was taken in the EMS helicopter that responded to the scene. The semi-truck driver was reportedly uninjured.
Officials do not believe alcohol use was a factor, but they have not released any other suspected causes.
