Leavenworth County, KS — April 26, 2023, Ramiro Meliton was injured in a collision with a semi-truck around 1:40 a.m. on I-70 in Leavenworth County.

According to authorities, Mr. Meliton’s Chevrolet Cobalt was traveling westbound when it collided with a stationary semi-truck. Authorities report the semi-truck was illegally parked.

The victim was purportedly transported to a medical center with serious injuries. The two occupants in the semi-truck were reportedly uninjured.
