Houston, TX — February 25, 2023, a police officer was injured by an alleged drunk driver around 10:53 p.m. on Wilcrest Dr. in Houston.
Crash investigators report a GMC Yukon was northbound on Wilcrest Dr. when it collided with two stationary police vehicles that had their emergency lights on. The GMC reportedly continued driving along Wilcrest and failed to stop after the crash.
An officer, exiting a police vehicle at the time of the crash, reportedly suffered minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Police recommend charging the GMC driver with Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
