Accident Report
September 28, 2026, a pedestrian was injured following a utility truck hit-and-run accident around 3:00 p.m. on W. Littleton Boulevard.
Initial statements about the accident say it happened outside King Soopers off the corner of W. Littleton Boulevard and South Broadway in the Littleton area in south Denver.
According to officials, a white utility truck with bucket lift on top is believed to have struck the pedestrian by the store. That truck then reportedly left the scene.
The pedestrian sustained injuries in the accident. Authorities say they’ve continuing to look for the truck and driver involved in the accident.
How Did This Accident Occur?
It’s usually better to answer this question by making sure everyone involved is in contact with the authorities. To that end, it looks like police have published pictures of a suspect truck in the news. This is usually a good way to get more eyes on an accident so someone can connect the dots, either to the individual driver or perhaps a local company.
In the meantime, I wonder if the area where this accident occurred has any cameras. Video footage is often time-sensitive, so it’s important authorities look for it quickly. That combined with a closer look at the truck and the driver involved in the incident could help finally provide a clear picture of what all happened here and how it could have been avoided.
