How Did This Accident Occur?

It’s challenging to answer this question fully when one party is still out there not cooperating with the investigations. Maybe this is a misunderstanding, and the truck driver somehow doesn’t even know they hit someone. Or, maybe this is a driver who was doing something they didn’t want police to know about. Either way, it would help if authorities released more information to the public.

In my experience, that’s what leads to a resolution after a hit-and-run accident. Someone may be able to come forward with new information that leads to a truck description, an employer, or even the driver themselves. I’ve actually had a hit-and-run case where people close to the driver did the right thing and turned them in. With as many people helping as possible, there can still be a just resolution for this woman’s loved ones.
