Dallas, TX — August 26, 2026, a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident at about 4:30 a.m. on Stemmons Freeway/Interstate 35E.

Authorities said a northbound vehicle hit a pedestrian near Oak Lawn Avenue and continued driving.

The pedestrian, whose name has not been made public yet, died from injuries suffered into the crash, according to authorities.
