West Orange, TX — September 29, 2026, a teen was injured in a car accident at about 5:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Holly Lane.

Authorities said an SUV hit a teen on a scooter while following a curve in the road at the junction with Bonnie Street.

The teen suffered serious injuries, including a suspected broken leg, in the crash, according to authorities.

The SUV driver remained at the scene to talk to police after the crash, authorities said.
