Accident Report

Midland, TX — January 12, 2026, a pedestrian was injured in a car accident at about 10:10 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Big Spring Road/Rankin Highway.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a northbound 2017 Cadillac ATS hit a pedestrian just south of Rhode Island Avenue.

The pedestrian, a 62-year-old woman, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report. Her name has not been made public yet.

The Cadillac driver was not injured, the report states.
