Ottawa County, OH — March 14, 2023, a 16-year-old was killed and Michael Hudson was injured in a collision with a semi-truck around 12:08 p.m. on Route 163 in Ottawa County.
Authorities report the minor’s Chevrolet Silverado was northbound on North Toussaint Portage Rd crossing the intersection with Route 163 when the Silverado was struck by an eastbound Kenworth semi-truck. The collision reportedly sent both vehicles off the roadway and into a Ford van driven by Michael Hudson.
The 16-year-old suffered fatal injuries, Michael Hudson and the semi-truck driver reportedly suffered minor injuries and were transported for medical treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
