Accident Report
Johnson County, TX — February 16, 2026, Miguel Galvan was injured in a single-vehicle accident at about 11:30 a.m. on County Road 607 north of Alvarado.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2022 Jeep Cherokee was heading south when it crashed into a tree near the intersection with County Road 505.
Driver Miguel Galvan, 34, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.

How Did This Accident Occur?
Doing what I do for a living, I always tell people not to rush to any conclusions about how an accident happened until they know enough to do so. That means waiting for the facts that will come out in an investigation, either by police or an independent third party.
In this instance, it would be easy to assume the driver ran off the road because he was fatigued or districted, but what if there was some sort of issue with the Jeep? It could have had worn tires or faulty brakes that led to the crash.
