Houston, TX — May 2, 2023, eleven people were reportedly injured due to a METRO bus accident Tuesday afternoon on Gessner Road.
Preliminary information about the crash released by Houston Fire officials indicates that the incident happened along Gessner at Perthshire Road, south of the Katy Freeway. Right now, exact circumstances surrounding the crash are still unclear.
It appears that there were two METRO buses transporting passengers when, somehow, the two buses collided. As a result of this collision, at least eleven people were said to be injured. One of the victims was a driver of one of the buses. At this time, injuries are said to have been non-life-threatening. Identities were not provided.
Currently, the cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities. They have not given any additional details pending those investigations.
