Wise County, TX — February 15, 2023, Mercedes Ramirez and Daniel Garcia were injured and Tyler Greenwood was killed in a car accident around 9:43 p.m. on F.M. 2265 in Wise County.
Authorities believe while navigating a curve in the road, Mr. Greenwood’s Yukon veered off the road to the south side, overcorrected, and began to leave the road on the north side when its passenger side was stuck by Mercedes Ramirez’s and Daniel Garcia’s westbound Nissan Altima. The impact reportedly forced Mr. Greenwood’s Yukon into a rollover crash and sent the Altima off the road to the north side.
Mercedes Ramirez and Daniel Garcia reportedly suffered serious, incapacitating injuries and were transported to a medical center for treatment. Tyler Greenwood suffered fatal injuries in the accident.
The crash is still under investigation, there are no other updates at this time.
