Washington County, AR — December 31, 2025, Maxwell Henson was killed as the result of a car accident that happened around 6:28 p.m. on Gregg Avenue.
The Arkansas Department of Public Safety said that the crash happened in the area of North Gregg Avenue and North Quality Lane.
It appears that 35-year-old Maxwell Adam Henson was on foot at the time. While in the area of northbound Gregg Avenue, a Honda Civic struck Henson. Henson reportedly died due to the collision.

Pedestrian accidents don’t always get the attention they need, and that’s truly unfortunate. Families are as entitled to answers for a loved one hit while walking as they are if they’re in a vehicle. That’s why there sometimes needs to be independent investigations into these accidents. If authorities move on to responsibilities they feel are a higher priority, it may be up to outside efforts to pick up the slack and get answers for the victim’s loved ones.
