Marvin Uresti Killed in Truck Accident in Lee County, TX

Lee County, TX — April 30, 2025, Marvin Uresti was killed as the result of a truck accident at around 11:45 p.m. along US Highway 77.

Initial details about the accident say that it happened just north of Lexington. Right now, specific circumstances are unclear.

Authorities say that 70-year-old Marvin Uresti was the driver of a Ford F-350 pulling a trailer. Marvin Uresti was outside the vehicle at the time. Somehow, the truck ran over Marvin Uresti, then continued off-road.

Due to the accident, Marvin Uresti was fatally injured. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. No further information is available at this time.

I can only hope authorities were more thorough behind the scenes to ensure the victim’s loved ones got clear answers about what happened. It would surprise folks how often authorities encountered an unusual accident, and instead of digging deep into the details simply moved on without getting the whole story. If they were more thorough here, that would be good to hear. But it would be far from the first time an unusual accident required more thorough independent investigations.
