Accident Report
August 29, 2026, Mark Hall was injured following a car accident which took place around midnight along I-10.
Preliminary information about the accident says that the crash happened along eastbound lanes near Farm-to-Market 1518, east of San Antonio.
According to officials, 56-year-old Mark Hall was on a Kawasaki motorcycle going along I-10. Another vehicle was going eastbound when it crashed with the motorcycle. The other vehicle then reportedly fled the scene.
Due to the accident, Mark Hall sustained serious injuries. It’s unclear if authorities ever identified or located the driver who left the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
How Did This Accident Occur?
While specifics about the crash are scarce, drivers don’t usually leave an accident scene when they did nothing wrong. Around midnight, alcohol is going to be a common factor, and that also happens to be a common reason drivers flee accident scenes. So, hopefully continued efforts can lead to the suspect in due time. One thing that could help is if authorities could release more information about the accident to the public. Even just the type of vehicle people can be on the lookout for could lead to new information and ultimately a resolution. In my experience, keeping up the pressure eventually yields results.
