Dallas, TX — April 25, 2022, Marco Medina Perales was fatally injured due to a work accident involving electrocution at a site along South Akard Street.
Initial details provided in public statements from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration say that the incident happened at around 10:45 p.m. at 208 South Akard Street, which is Whitacre Tower off the corner of Commerce Street.
Reports indicate that 27-year-old Marco Medina Perales was doing wire running at the time. For reasons not currently clear, Perales came into contact with a live wire, and Perales suffered a fatal electrical shock. No none else was said to be injured.
Current information from OSHA lists the investigated company as Hargrove Electric Co. There was one alleged rule violation, said to be “serious,” and there was a listed penalty recommendation for $7,613. Right now, additional information surrounding the fatal accident are not available.
