How Did This Accident Occur?
This is the kind of crash that authorities likely will attribute to driver fatigue or error, but it’s important to look into possible issues with vehicle, which was more than two decades old. A pickup that old could be subject to a raft of problems if it was not properly serviced and maintained.
Police may not have the time or expertise to identify such issues, so those affected by this crash may want to have an independent expert check out the pickup before it is repaired or junked.
Do you think that is warranted?
