How Did This Accident Occur?

Most people probably would point to the motorcyclist as the one who caused this crash. Not because of the facts we know so far, but because of a lingering stereotype that paints anyone who gets around on two wheels as a reckless daredevil. That is not accurate, in my experience, so a full investigation is necessary to sort out what happened at this intersection.

Investigators will work to reconstruct this accident using physical evidence, vehicle data, witness statements and available video footage, while cell phone records could show what the pickup driver was doing at the time. They also should push for an in-depth inspection of the motorcycle to determine if it had a mechanical issue or manufacturer’s defect that may have contributed to this crash.
