Wood County, TX — March 6, 2023, Kristie Maxwell was killed in a single-vehicle car accident around 3:40 p.m. on U.S. Hwy. 69 in Wood County.
Officials report Ms. Maxwell was a passenger in a convertible 1968 Chevrolet Camaro, about 4 miles south of Alba ,when she was somehow ejected from the vehicle. The victim was flown to a hospital in Tyler but later succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities did not say if the driver was injured or how the accident occurred.
