Accident Report

Montgomery County, TX — September 5, 2026, Kevin Bell was injured in a suspected drunk driver accident at about 4:30 a.m. on Rose Road near Conroe.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2016 Nissan Frontier on Rose Road when it collided with a southbound 2003 Toyota Avalon at the intersection with Rose Royal Drive.

Toyota driver Kevin Bell, 59, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.

The Nissan driver, a 36-year-old man, is suspected of being intoxicated at the time of the crash, the report states, but he is not facing any charges at this time. He suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Montgomery County crash at this time.

How Did This Accident Occur?

I expect authorities to investigate this crash like any other injury accident, but investigators should dig a little deeper if blood tests confirm the Nissan driver was intoxicated at the time. They should try to figure out where he had been drinking before the crash.

That matters because under Texas law alcohol providers like bars or restaurants can share responsibility for injuries caused in accident like this if the driver was served while obviously intoxicated before getting behind the wheel.

I don’t know if that is what happened here, but the Toyota driver and his family deserve to know everyone who may have played a role in this crash.

Do you know anything that could help with this investigation? Let me know in the comments.
