Accident Report

Houston, TX — August 27, 2026, Kaylion Sandles and another person were injured in a hit-and-run accident at about 12:40 a.m. on Loop 610/Interstate 610.

A preliminary accident report indicates that an unknown vehicle rear-ended a 2010 Nissan Sentra near the junction with North Freeway/Interstate 45, forcing it into a guardrail. The other vehicle kept driving after the collision.

Nissan driver Kaylion Sandles, 23, and a passenger were seriously injured in the crash, according to the report. Another passenger was listed as possibly injured, while a third was not hurt.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Harris County crash at this time.
