Grayson County, TX — April 15, 2023, John Spillers was injured in a car accident around 6:20 p.m. on Hwy. 289 in Grayson County.

According to officials, the victim’s motorcycle was southbound on Hwy. 289 approaching the intersection with Pecan Valley Dr. when it collided with a southbound Jeep Wrangler. Mr. Spillers was thrown from his vehicle and suffered serious injuries.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
