UPDATE (November 7, 2023): Reports indicate that 49-year-old Joey Maes was traveling in a westbound Toyota Camry on Erskine Street when he ran a stop sign at the Milwaukee Avenue intersection before going off the roadway. The Camry reportedly slid sideways before beginning to roll, striking a wooden fence before coming to a stop on its roof. The cause of the accident has not yet been confirmed.

Lubbock, TX — October 23, 2023, one person was killed in a single-car accident at 2:05 in the morning along Erskine Avenue.

Reports indicate that the incident occurred in the block of Erskine Avenue between Milwaukee Avenue and Upland Ave.
