How Did This Accident Occur?

After a crash at this time of the morning, it’s easy to assume that the driver was distracted or fatigued. But what if he had a medical emergency? What if he swerved to avoid another vehicle or an object in the road? What if the Honda had a problem with its brakes or steering mechanism?

I don’t know any more about what happened on Rockhill Parkway than anyone else who read about this crash, but I also know authorities should consider questions like this to figure it out.

Investigators will work to reconstruct this accident by poring over physical evidence, vehicle data, witness statements and available video footage, while cell phone records could show what the driver was doing at the time. A qualified expert should examine the Honda if authorities suspect a mechanical issue contributed to the crash.

This investigation should answer any lingering questions the Honda driver and his family have about this accident.
