La Porte, TX — August 9, 2026, Isaac Zarate was injured in a single-vehicle accident at about 2 a.m. in the 8200 block of Spencer Highway.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2002 GMC Sierra was heading west when it crashed into a light pole at the intersection with Luella Boulevard.

Driver Isaac Zarate, 18, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.
