Alamo, TX — May 1, 2024, one person was injured in a hit-and-run car accident at approximately 7:00 p.m. along Alamo Road.
According to authorities, the accident occurred at the Alamo Road and Business 83 intersection.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, two vehicles were involved in a collision. The wreck caused one of the vehicles to veer off of the roadway and hit the building of a business. The other vehicle allegedly fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.
One person was hurt as a result of the hit-and-run accident and had to be transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identity of the victim—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
