UPDATE (January 30, 2024): According to further statements from authorities, one of the people injured in the crash succumbed to their injuries. That person was identified as 22-year-old Amiah Jones, a passenger in one of the vehicles involved. Right now, additional details can’t be confirmed pending investigations.
Pasadena, TX — September 9, 2023, Harold Terrell Jr. and Alexis Hall were killed, and Martin Gonzalez and two others were injured in a seven-vehicle accident around 5:40 p.m. at Crenshaw Road and the Beltway 8 access road in Pasadena.
According to investigators, a Ram 1500 was traveling southeast on Crenshaw Rd. while a Nissan Versa was northbound on the Beltway 8 access road and the two vehicles collided in the intersection. The impact reportedly forced both the pickup truck and the Nissan to travel to the eastern side of the intersection.

The Nissan reportedly struck two metal poles in the center median and collided with Mr. Gonzalez’s Nissan Rogue. Mr. Gonzalez was reportedly stopped at a red light facing northwest on Crenshaw Road. Officials report three other vehicles that were stopped at the same light as Mr. Gonzalez were then all involved in small fender benders as the cars pushed into one another.
Harold Terrell Jr. and Alexis Hall, passengers in the Nissan Versa, sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
The third passenger in the Versa was reportedly taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Nissan Versa and Martin Gonzalez both reportedly suffered minor injuries in the crash. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
