San Antonio, TX — October 17, 2022, Gabriel Nicholas Vitela was injured in a car accident around 2 p.m. on an I-37 Access Rd. in San Antonio.

Authorities report Gabriel Nicholas Vitela’s 2016 Nissan Rogue was southbound on Block Fair Ave. passing through the intersection with an I-37 access road when a 2011 Camaro allegedly ran a red light and struck the front passenger corner of Gabriel Nicholas Vitela’s Rogue.

Gabriel Nicholas Vitela suffered incapacitating injuries, the Camaro driver suffered minor injuries, and both drivers were transported to a hospital for medical treatment.

The speed limit for the I-37 Access Rd. is 45 mph. Officials have not released the reason for the severity of the injuries.
