Accident Report

August 26, 2026, Eduardo Borunda was injured as the result of a truck accident that took place at 4:28 a.m. on US 87.

According to officials, the accident happened near Park Circle South, a few miles north of Amarillo. It appears that 31-year-old Eduardo Borunda was in a Ford F-150 going southbound. A Ford F-250 pulling a trailer was also going southbound. The vehicles crossed paths and collided.

Due to the accident, Eduardo Borunda sustained serious injuries, authorities said. The other driver wasn’t hurt. At this time, additional details are unavailable.

This often happens when a driver suffers serious injuries, as they tend to be rushed to a hospital without giving a statement to investigators. And if police are rushed to move on to other work, they might submit their reports without ever following up.
