Whiteland, IN — April 27, 2023, David Callahan was killed following a semi-truck accident just before noon along Interstate 65.
Investigations from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office indicate that the crash took place along the northbound lanes of the interstate at approximately 11:54 a.m south of Indianapolis.
In the area of Worthsville Road, authorities say that 39-year-old David Callahan was in a vehicle on the shoulder of I-65. Details suggest he exited that vehicle. Some time afterward, it appears that a semi-truck struck him in the travel lanes of the interstate.
Due to the collision, Callahan sustained ultimately fatal injuries. Reports did not say anyone else was injured. Details surrounding the driver involved are not available right now. Information concerning other possible factors surrounding the crash is still under investigation.
