Williamson County, TX — September 1, 2026, a child was killed and three other people were injured in a car accident at about 4:45 p.m. on State Highway 95 north of Coupland.

Authorities said a Toyota sedan collided with a Telsa sedan while trying to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone near F.M. 1660.

A 9-year-old child who was riding in the Tesla died at the scene of the crash, according to authorities, while two other passengers were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
