Baytown, TX — April 18, 2026, Chandler Mendenhall was killed in a single-vehicle accident just before 2 a.m. on Bayway Drive/North Market Loop.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2018 Jeep Renegade was heading north when it crashed into a traffic light pole while turning left at the intersection with Decker Drive, north of State Highway Spur 330.
Driver Chandler Mendenhall, 30, died from injuring suffered in the crash, according to the report.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Harris County crash at this time.
