Richmond, TX — December 27, 2023, Bobby Joe King Jr. and three others were injured in a car accident around 4 p.m. on Jackson St. in Richmond.
Authorities report Mr. King Jr. was in an eastbound Ford F-150 and the three other victims were in a southbound Ford Transit when the two vehicles collided at Jackson St. and Collins Rd. All four victims were purportedly taken to a hospital with incapacitating injuries.
The speed limit for Jackson St. is 35 mph. Officials alleged the weather was clear and that the road was dry at the time of the crash. Additionally, the F-150’s nose purportedly struck the passenger side of the Transit.
It is unclear why all involved occupants suffered the same severity of injuries.
