Montgomery County, TX — July 23, 2025, two people were injured as the result of an ambulance accident that happened around 4:00 p.m. on FM 1314.

According to initial details about the accident, it happened at the intersection of FM 1314/Conroe Porter Road and Calhoun Road, north of Porter Heights.

Investigators said that an ambulance was traveling through a construction area at the time. It somehow crashed into the back of one car, following which a second car then hit the ambulance from behind. Authorities say the two paramedics in the ambulance were taken to a hospital.

There were no other reported injuries. Factors surrounding the crash remain under investigation.

A crash like this could involve issues with workers being on the clock for too long due to a demanding employer. There may have been issues with the construction zone and how it was marked or routed. This could be some unusual circumstances caused by brake failure or defect tires. Likely or not, it’s important investigations cover all the bases so nothing important slips through the cracks.
