Accident Report

East Tawakoni, TX — August 21, 2026, Alexander Cerliano was killed and another person was injured in a car accident at about 10:40 p.m. on State Highway 276.

A preliminary accident report indicates that an eastbound 2025 Honda Accord collided with a 2016 Honda Civic while trying to pass it on Bull Creek Bridge. It also crashed into a westbound 2015 Jeep Wrangler.

Accord driver Alexander Cerliano, 22, died August 22 from injuries suffered in the crash, according to the report.

The Jeep driver, a 30-year-old man, was seriously injured in the crash, the report states, while a 4-year-old boy suffered minor injuries and another passenger was listed as possibly injured.

The Civic driver was not hurt, the report states.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Rains County crash at this time.
