Corpus Christi, TX — November 26, 2025, Albert Rios was injured due to a car accident that happened around 7:30 p.m. along McArdle Road.
Authorities said in initial statements that the crash happened in the 6600 block of McArdle Road, just off Daly Drive.
Investigators said that 24-year-old Albert Rios was in a Chevy Impala going southeast along the roadway. A Nissan going northeast reportedly ran a stop sign. As a result, the vehicles collided. Albert Rios sustained serious injuries due to the accident.
No other injuries were reported. At this time, additional details are unavailable.

People might see claims of a driver running a stop sign and assume that makes everything open-and-shut. However, people involved in a serious car accident still need evidence telling their side of the story. Authorities tend to only investigate whatever they need for potential charges or citations. Most everything else requires independent investigations from accident reconstructionists whose priority is to gather all the facts. If authorities were more thorough than normal here, that would be good news. It’s just not the sort of thing I’d ever take for granted.
